Devin Townsend’s got many tools in his bag of tricks, but after appraising his discography we feel that ‘City’ by Strapping Young Lad is perhaps his best, most focused work. The lads take a jolly through his oeuvre and return to this album, in awe of it’s heaviness, ferocity and songwriting nous.
